We are obsessed with pistachio in all forms, and we could never quite find a pistachio butter that wasn’t too sweet, had clean ingredients, and felt a little more special than what’s out there, so we made one ourselves. Buttery, toasty pistachios are blended with velvety cashews, hand-ground cinnamon, vibrant cardamom, and a touch of coconut sweetness for a warming, unexpected cloud of flavor.
We hand-grind cardamom pods sourced from a single-estate regenerative farm in Guatemala, and if you’re not familiar with cinnamon’s more elusive cousin, you’re in for a treat - golden, complex, warming, sweet, tart, floral, citrusy, and herby all at once, cardamom is one of those spices that makes everything it touches extra beautiful, and this nut butter is no exception.
We love this swirled into yogurt or ice cream, on top of toast or oatmeal, or as a base in cookies and any other pistachio dessert - the dreamy, creamy possibilities are endless.
